Mt. Dhaulagiri
Mount Dhaulagiri lies in Western part of Nepal, rising to 8167 m. above the sea level. It’s  name of the mountain origins from a Sanskrit word meaning ‘White Mountain’. The Dhaulagiri is the seventh highest mountain in the world. Mr. Ernest Forrer of Switzerland scaled Mt. Dhaulagiri first on May 13, 1960 via North East Ridge.

First Nepali climber:    Mr. Nawang Dorje Sherpa who topped the mountain on May 13, 1960
Normal Ascent Route:    North East Ridge
